Michael J. Connon

Michael J. Connon, 69, of Roscoe passed away Monday, February 12, 2018. Born October 27, 1948 in Chicago to Caroll and Darliene (Parker) Connon. A veteran of the US Air Force. Married Debra Linden on October 27, 2001 in Machesney Park. Employed as an Operating Engineer for Union Local 150.

Survivors include wife, Debra Connon; daughters, Shelly (Scott) Taylor, Sandy (Mike) Timmerman; grandchildren, Lauren (fiancé Stephan Erickson) Taylor, Ian Taylor, Stephanie Taylor, Chase Timmerman, Max Timmerman; brother-in-law, Dan Leahy; nieces and nephews, Dan (Jenny) Leahy, Bridget Leahy, Matt (Julie) Leahy, Beth (Roger) Kelley; and special friends, Matt Austin, Brett Becker, Roger Ruha, Ricky Serrano, and Bob Carlson. Predeceased by parents, Caroll and Darliene Connon; and sister, Kathleen Leahy. A special thank you to OSF St. Anthony and Dr. Richard Nora for being such a great friend.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2018 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory–Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe with Pastor Dan Herman of the Old Stone Church officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial in Willowbrook Cemetery, Roscoe.
