Mark Alan Babler, 57, of Rockford, Illinois, died on October 12, 2017. He was at home and surrounded by his family when his valiant battle with cancer ended. Mark never gave up. God called Mark home where he is now with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Mark was born to David and Bess (Regenold) Babler in Monroe, Wisconsin, March 8, 1960. At age four the family moved to Rockford, Illinois, where Mark received his education, graduating from Rock Valley College and then Southern Illinois University. Mark worked as a software and hardware engineer with Ingersoll, Operations Manager at Heartwood Creations, and the past twelve years with CSC IT Security. Mark was a charter member of Grace Reformed Baptist Church where he faithfully served for the past 27 years. Mark was compassionate, a man of integrity, and he modeled Christian living. He will be greatly missed.
