Welcome to the memorial page for

Luke Hickcox

November 12, 1970 ~ September 7, 2016 (age 45) 45 Years Old

Luke Hickcox, 45, of South Beloit, Illinois passed away on September 7, 2016.  He was the husband of Nicole Hickcox and father of two children, Brenna and Noah.  They shared 23 amazing years of love and commitment to one another.  He was born on November 12, 1970 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and was the son of his deceased parents, Frank and Barbara (Radman) Hickcox.

Luke was a genuine, selfless, warm-hearted and caring man.  He put his family and faith before himself.  His wife and children were his world; he loved them unconditionally.  He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, best friend, companion and coach to so many.  His smile and sense of humor was infectious, bringing light and love wherever he went.  He was committed to his occupation as a General Manager of a plastics company where he worked for over 20 years. Luke loved football and cheering for his favorite team, the Green Bay Packers.  He also enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, woodworking, hunting, working in his man cave and fixing anything that needed to be repaired.

The end of his life came unexpectedly and too soon after a recent diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, but even through the most difficult moments he never complained.  He would want those of you who read this to remember the “good times” and carry those moments with you in your heart.

He is survived by his wife, Nicole Hickcox; his two children, Brenna and Noah; sister, Janet (Roger) Ohlemacher and their children, Amy (Dick), Mia (Kris), and Ivy (Danny); sister, Leslie (Joe) Theys and their children, Eric (Amanda), Emily, Jon, Josh, and Analeese; sister, Laurie (Paul) Brandsted and their children, Jakob, Izac, and KJ; his father and mother-in-law, Bob and Le Milnichuk; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude for the outreach of prayer, sympathy, support and acts of kindness shown during this difficult time of bereavement.  The family requests any memorial offering to be given to benefit the college education of Luke’s children.

Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe, on Sunday, September 11, 2016.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30am in St. Bridget Catholic Church, 600 Clifford Avenue, Loves Park, on Monday, September 12, 2016.
