Dad, I miss you so much. Its, so hard. To wake up and remember I cant call you and say hi or just have a goofy conversation, or hear your contagious laugh one more time. You are my best friend and life is just not the same, it wont be. I couldnt wait to have you watch me in my first college game and then talk about it after. Now i just talk with no answer. That sucks sometimes. I miss you a lot. Today hurts more than normal, love you dad.

To Luke's family, I am so sorry for your loss. I grew up babysitting Leslie and Laurie and lived with Frank and Barbara in both Three Lakes and Minneapolis. I think back to the time that Luke was visiting at our house in Sugar Camp and went to the Basil Stefonek farm with Jeff. Luke was 8 or 9 and Jeff taught him how to drive a farm truck picking up hay off the field. Luke was estatic, Frank, not so much! I truly loved Luke and his family so much.

To Nicole and the Hickcox family,
I was shocked and deeply saddened when I heard of Luke's passing. I have known Luke for many years through business, from buying parts from him at NPP. He was always a such a pleasure to talk to and deal with, and was a consummate professional. Many is the time that if I would ever have a problem with a part, Luke would come right out personally to take care of it. He was obviously a generous, warm-hearted, caring man who loved his family and was proud of his work. Everyone here at Arachnid and myself would like to offer our sincerest prayers and deepest condolences to Nicole, his children and the entire family at this extremely difficult time.

My deepest sympathy. Luke and I worked together for a few years. We both had been to GHS and played there. He was selfless , hardworking and a truly good man. He touched all that he met.

Nicole, Brenna & Nicole,
I have never had the pleasure of meeting any of you, however, I do share the pain, grief and sorrow you must be going through right now. God has a plan for all of us and we never know when we will be called to his side. I am glad to have known him and played beside him. I think God is forming the perfect team in heaven and needed Luke on his line to protect him as he completes his ultimate hail marry pass to each and everyone of us to get us to the promise land. My prayers to you and your family.

Nikki, Brenna and Noah,
My head is still reeling from receiving this news. I just can't believe it. Your Dad was a super guy!!!! I will always remember (well sort of, thanks to many Bud Lights) the Ice Hogs games we attended and enjoying pizza at Schiros after. Your Dad always made me laugh. While I know words cannot heal the emptiness in your hearts, please know he is with you always. I promise the pain never goes away, but it does and will get easier as time goes on. Honor his memory always. Having been through the loss of my Dad, please do not hesitate to reach out if you need an ear or a shoulder. You all are like family and I pray for the Lord to comfort your hearts. Love you all, Katie
