Lois M. Palmquist Carlson

Lois Muriel Palmquist Carlson, 98, lifetime Rockford resident, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord on May 25, 2017. Lois was born in Chicago August 21, 1918 to Hilmer and Nellie Palmquist and was married to Irving A. Carlson in 1946. 

She is survived by sons, Kim (Jackie) of Vero Beach, FL and Lance (Marti) of Atlanta; and grandchildren, Sarah (Andrew) Carlson-Lier of Boston, Sean Carlson of Los Angeles, James Carlson of Colorado Springs, Christopher (Alison) Carlson of Atlanta, Katie (Kevin) McCranie of Smyrna, GA, Clayton (Kim) Carlson of Draper, Utah; and eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her two brothers, Bill and Marv; twin infant sons, Dean and Delbert; and husband.

A memorial service will be arranged at a later date.
