Linda Jean Anast

Linda Jean Anast, 68, of Loves Park went to be with her lord and savior Jesus Christ Wednesday, May 24, 2017. Born April 14, 1949 in Milwaukee, WI to Ervin and Valera (Haasch) Muenster. Married Paul Anast October 7, 1972 in Rockford. She dedicated her life to her family, and was happiest when her family was all together. Linda enjoyed cooking, traveling, but most of all spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her kind, and joyful spirit and always putting others before herself.

Survivors include husband of 44 years, Paul Anast of Loves Park; children, Heather (Glenn) Carguillo of Loves Park, Dr. Paul (Gina) Anast, Jr. of Chicago; grandchildren, Sophia, and Zachary Carguillo, Evelyn Anast; nephews, Jordan Moore, and Ben Raymer. Predeceased by parents.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2017 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Rockford. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home and again from 12:00 p.m. until service time Thursday.
