LeMoyne T. Hanson

LeMoyne T. Hanson, 88, of Rockford passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016. Born May 22, 1928 in Renville, MN to Casper and Josephine (Danielson) Hanson. Veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Army. Member of VFW Post 7704 and of the IBEW Local Union 364. LeMoyne enjoyed woodworking, reading, and loved spending time with family.

Survivors include children, Linda (Lance) Kamin of Machesney Park, Lance Hanson of Rockford, Loretta (Wes) Williams of Choctaw, OK, Leslie (Kevin) Ruthe of Rockford; grandchildren, Michael (Jess) Real, Christopher Real, Nicholas (Emily) Williams, Joshua Williams, Alissa (Daniel) Battist, Breanna (Christian) Johansen, Collin (Aimee) Ruthe, Igor Kozuta – Botkin; great-grandchildren, Brittany, Alex, Sofie, Sara, Adelynn, and Lydia. Predeceased by granddaughter, Elisha Williams; 6 brothers; and 1 sister.

Memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2016 in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory – Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd, Loves Park, with a visitation from 4:00 p.m. until time of service.
