Kimberly Michelle Hoover

Kimberly Michelle Hoover, 28, of Rockford was called home Wednesday, April 26, 2017. Graduated from Freeport Alternative High School Class of 2006. Worked at Applebee’s of Freeport.

Kimberly’s greatest joy was being a mother to her beautiful daughter Natalie Rose Hoover, age 4.  She is also survived by her mother, Diane (John) Powell; stepfather, Jim Hoover; sisters, Jessica Hoover, Julia Hoover; aunt, Karla Horner; several cousins; countless friends; and dog, Max. Predeceased by her father, Gregory A. Horner.

Kim loved being with her friends, listening to music, reading, cooking, and enjoyed great food, especially pizza. Her friendly personality and beautiful smile could light up any room. She was a wonderful mother and the life of the party. A warrior against GBM and an inspiration to all. Kim will be missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017 in The Bridge Church, 1 East Stephenson St., Freeport.
