Kay L. Richter

Kay L. Richter, 70, of Machesney Park, suddenly left us on Saturday, April 7, 2018 in her home.  Kay enjoyed spending time with her son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she loved country music.  She always had an open door policy for anyone; she touched many hearts and was always there for everyone.

She is survived by her husband, Bernard D. Richter; son, Steven D. Richter; grandchildren, Roman (Brianne) Richter, Benjamin Richter, Tessah Richter, Justin Richter and Brittany Richter; great-grandchildren, Phoenix Lampe and Oliver Richter; brother, Richard (Karen) Jenks; and many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents, Dale and Doris Jenks, and her son, Michael D. Richter.

Memorial service will be at 12:00 noon with a Visitation from 11:00am until service time on Saturday, April 21, 2018 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park.
