Joyce A. Hamlin

Joyce A. Hamlin, 72, of Loves Park, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016 with family and friends by her side.  Born in Hodgenville, Kentucky on June 6, 1943 to David and Ethel (Green) Eldridge; married Bobby Hamlin May 5, 1962 in Virginia.  Joyce was a homemaker who loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she was a mother-like figure to many children.  She also loved to listen to Elvis.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby; son, Bobby Hamlin, Jr.; daughter, Ronda (Kenneth) Foreman; grandchildren, Gretchen, Zachary, Stephanie and Maladria; great-grandchildren, Emma, Saraya, London; brothers, Billy (Marcie) Eldridge, Garfield (Teresa) Eldridge, both of Milan, Indiana; sisters, Jean (Charles) Tomlin, Freda (Ken) Grubbs, Gayle (John) Burke, Lynn Eldridge and Tina Eldridge.  Predeceased by parents; daughter, Kimberly; sister, Faye Lowe and best friend, Dianne Solem.

Service will be at 1:00pm on Friday, April 29, 2016 with a visitation from 11:30am until 1:00pm in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park.  Burial in Scottish Argyle Cemetery, Caledonia. To share a memory or express condolences, visit honquestfh.com.
