Joseph Ridulph

Joseph Ridulph, 84, of Rockford, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, February 21, 2017. He was born on May 6, 1932 in DeKalb, Illinois to Micheal and Louise Ridulph. Joe was an Air Force veteran, and after separating from the military he opened and operated his own auto garage in Rockford. Joe would continue to support his family as a self-employed auto mechanic for the rest of his working life. He loved golfing, spending time outside, doing yard work and vacationing with his family in their van. A warm-hearted soul, Joe would do anything for his family and was a model patriarch.

He will be sorely missed by his wife, Bernice; two daughters, Cindy and Cher (Curt); two grandchildren, Zach and Hayley.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
