John S. Hinde

John S. Hinde, 46, of Rockford left for Heaven peacefully on Saturday, March 31, 2018.  He graduated from and golfed for Western Illinois University.  He had a kind heart and a terrific sense of humor; he loved and entertained everyone.  He also had a deep faith in God.

He is survived by his parents, Steven and Karen (Englund) Hinde; brothers, Dr. Brian (Jennifer) Hinde and Eric Hinde; best friend, his dog Riley Hinde; niece and nephew, Avery J. and Evan J. Hinde; grandmother, Veletta Englund; many aunts, uncles and cousins.  Predeceased by his grandfather, Charles Englund and grandparents, Charles and Margaret Whalen.  We love and miss you, John.

Memorial Mass will be at 10:00am on Saturday, April 14, 2018 in Cathedral of St. Peter, 1243 N. Church St., Rockford, 61103.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Carpenter's Place or Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary.
