Jean L. Griffey

Jean L. Griffey, 85, of Rockford, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017. She was born on February 15, 1932 in Rockford, Illinois to Frank and Vivian Clark. She married Jimmy Griffey on February 10, 1952 in Dubuque, Iowa. 

Survivors inlcude her children, Deborah (Rick) Ostberg, Gail (Robert) Manley, Diane Griffey, Gary Griffey and Jeffery Griffey; grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher, Elise and Anna; great-grandchild, Rowan; sister, Marion Simms. Predeceased by her parents; husband, Jimmy Griffey; brother, Donald Clark; sisters, Harriet Murphy and Shirley Richardson.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, Mulford Chapel. 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, Illinois.
