Jacob P. Weibel

Jacob P. Weibel, 27, of Rockton passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017. Born February 15, 1989 in Mendota to Randy and Joylyn (Anderson) Weibel. Graduated from Hononegah High School Class of 2007 and McKendree University Class of 2013. Employed as a Corrections Officer by the Winnebago Juvenile Detention Center. Played baseball and basketball while attending Hononegah High School, and played baseball while attending Olney Central College and McKendree University. Jacob was an avid Packers fan and an advocate for troubled youth.

Survivors include parents, Randy and Joylyn Weibel; sisters, Courtney (Jim) Ludois and their child, Quinn, Ashley (Riley) Jenkins and their child, Owen; grandparents, Terry and Dixie Anderson; and many aunts; uncles; cousins; and friends. Predeceased by grandparents, Paul and Lil Weibel.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in Roscoe United Methodist Church, 10816 Main Street, Roscoe. Private family services. Burial in Pinnacle Hill Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Hononegah baseball and boys basketball programs.
