Jacob L. Almond

Jacob Lee Almond was born on September 27, 1990 to Rick Almond and Sherry Brunner.  Jacob walked into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 2, 2017 at the age of 26.  Jacob enjoyed his job of construction and would gladly fix anything for anyone.  He also worked for Artists Helping the Homeless, a non-profit organization which focuses on assisting people in their greatest time of need.  Jacob will be missed by everyone that knew him well and those who just met him.  He could light up a room with his smile.  He had such a generous heart and a kind soul.  He has been referred to as the "Peacemaker".  He would not want us to be sad about his death, but to celebrate his life.  Jacob will live on forever in everyone's hearts.

Jacob is survived by daughter, Bryleigh Lunde; parents, Rick (Michelle) Almond and Sherry Brunner; brother, Joshua (Kathleen) Almond; sister, April Almond; maternal grandmother, Nina Acord and Richard Watkins; paternal grandmother, Betty Almond, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many close friends.  He is predeceased by his grandfathers, Charles Almond and Clyde Acord.

Funeral is at 5:00pm with a Visitation from 2:00pm to 5:00pm on Sunday, August 6, 2017 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park.  Private burial in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery Tuesday.
