Goldie E. Sterling

Goldie E. Sterling, 88, of Winnebago passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016. Born November 17, 1927 in Chana, the daughter of Harry and Goldie (Capes) Friemuth, Sr. Goldie enjoyed attending bible study, and outings with her senior group. She also enjoyed family reunions and camping.

Survivors include children, Larry Sterling, Jim Sterling, Janice (Anthony) Thomas, Bob (Linda) Sterling; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Katherine Fritz; brother, George Friemuth; and numerous extended family members. Predeceased by parents; daughter, Joanne Watson; brothers, Warner Friemuth, Harry Friemuth; and sister, Ruby Becker.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2016 in New Life Bible Church, 2285 N. Hoisington Road, Pecatonica. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Friday in the church.
