Gerlinde "Linde" E. Vorndran

Gerlinde E. “Linde” Vorndran, 67, of Roscoe passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016. Born November 27, 1948 in Mannheim, West Germany, the daughter of Sophie Bittner. Immigrated to the United States in 1963 thru Ellis Island. Married John R. Vorndran in May of 1982. A graduate of ITT Technical Institute, Fort Wayne, IN with a degree as an Electronics Technician. Previously employed at Sperry Flight Systems, Cray Research, and JC Penney’s. Linde enjoyed woodcarving, gardening, and fly fishing. She was also an accomplished artist and seamstress.

Survivors include husband, John Vorndran; children, Jennifer, Mathew, Victor; grandchildren, Emma, and Ellie.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2016 in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory – Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe. Burial in Scottish Argyle Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
