Deena R. Phillips

Deena R. Phillips, 67, of Rockford, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at home.  Born in Rockford on September 29, 1950 to Edgar and Marie (LaRosa) Kelly; married Wayne Phillips, Sr.  Deena had worked as a nurse's aide and enjoyed her friends and family.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Wayne; sons, Wayne, Jr. (Jenny) and Danny (Jessica); four grandsons, Nate, Nick, Wrigley and Gentry; siblings, Ron (Louise), Kathy (Eddie), Vickie and Tom.  Predeceased by parents and brother, Bill.

Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00pm in the Verdi Club, 782 N. Madison St., Rockford 61107.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
