Barbara L. Clark

Barbara L. Clark, 90, of Rockford passed away Monday, May 1, 2017. Born February 16, 1927 in Waukegan to Keith and Florence (Anderson) Beckenbaugh. Married Eugene L. Clark March 21, 1948 in Rockford. Retired from Advanced Machine and Engineering Company. Barbara enjoyed sewing, quilting, needle point, knitting, scrabble, crossword puzzles, card games, loved all her pets, and was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan. A member of the Quilting Group at Third Presbyterian Church, Rockford. Most of all, Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include sons, Jim (Pamela) Clark of Naperville, Bill Clark of St. Germain, WI; grandchildren, Reid Clark, Colin Clark; sister, Annette Pomplin; special cousins, Anita and Dave Johnson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by husband, Eugene; son, Thomas Clark; brother, Charles; sister, Katherine; and brother-in-law, Robert Clark.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park with Rev. Stephen L. Bowie of Third Presbyterian Church, Rockford officiating. Burial in Willwood Burial Park, Rockford. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home Saturday. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011.
