Arthur G. Peterson

Arthur G. Peterson, 64, of Rockford passed peacefully Wednesday, January 17, 2018. Born September 6, 1953 to Arthur and Audrey (Lindstrom) Peterson. Married Marcia Parochka on April 10, 1976 in Rockford. Retired from Meridian School District. Art enjoyed coaching, homing pigeons, woodworking, and was an avid Minnesota Vikings Fan.

Survivors include wife, Marcia Peterson; son, Bob Peterson; daughter, Jamie (Bryan) Donaldson; and sister, Janaan (Tim) Lewis. Predeceased by parents. A special thank you to Dr. Michalsen and Becky and Marcie from Transitions Hospice.

Memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2018 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park with a visitation from 4:00 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family to be used in Art’s name at a later date.
