Annette Renee Flowers

Annette R. Flowers, 42, of Roscoe, IL, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Rockford Memorial Hospital.  She was born March 20, 1972 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Barbara L. Fjeldheim and Steven L. Flowers. Annette had an Associates Degree in Arts from Rock Valley College where she also worked as an Administrative Assistant and Marketing Specialist in the Community and Continuing Education Department.

Annette has three children from two former marriages.  Annette was a loving mother as well as a kind, selfless person with an electric personality. A lover of all types of music, she also enjoyed gardening, long walks with her dogs, bible study groups and family oriented gatherings.

She is survived by her children, Cortney R. Bennethum (Matthew E. Cornell), Steven J. Pekarik, Derek S. Bennethum; grandchildren, Caleb M. and Maci-Rae H. Cornell; parents, Barbara L. Fjeldheim and Steven L. Flowers; sister, Victoria Flowers; brother, Nicolas A. Bennethum; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be 7:00p.m., Wednesday, April 2, 2014 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street Roscoe; Reverend Anthony Maynard will officiate.  Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to services Wednesday in the funeral home.
