Andrew James Mercurio

Andrew James Mercurio, 28, of Machesney Park, was a loving son and brother who went to be with our Lord and Savior suddenly on Tuesday, July 11, 2017.  He was born on May 19, 1989 in Redondo Beach, CA, the son of William James and Nancy (Mosby) Mercurio. Andrew received his Associates Degree from Rock Valley College and was employed for 10 years by Men’s Wearhouse. He was a gentleman in all aspects of his life. He loved sports, music, video games, and most of all his family. Andrew always sought to please others and his tender heart and gentle manner endeared him to all he met.

He leaves behind, to cherish his memory, his parents, William and Nancy Mercurio; sisters, Arianne (Jason), Amanda (John), Alena; nieces and nephew, Reghan, Lola, Moxie, Cillian; grandpa, Gordon Mosby; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Harvest Bible Chapel, 5501 Windsor Road, Loves Park. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2017 at Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to BraveHearts Therapeutic Riding & Educational Center, 7319 Maxon Rd., Harvard, IL 60033.
