Andrew James Anderson

Andrew J. Anderson, 65, of Rockford, passed away July 11, 2017. He was born on November 24, 1951 in Rockford to Richard and Mary (Foht) Anderson. Andrew enjoyed fishing, cooking and baking, going to the casino and spending time with his family. 

Survivors include his daughters, Stephanie Anderson and Andrea Jimenez; sisters, Pamela (Fred) Stephenson and Dee Anderson; grandsons, Carlos (Marketa) Jimenez, Anthony Jimenez and Dominic Guzman; granddaughter, Justina Guzman. Predeceased by his parents and grandson, Angelo. 

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 428 N. 2nd St., Rockford, IL 61107 in Richter Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family.
