Allison Elizabeth Salamone

Allison "Allie" Elizabeth Salamone, 25, of Rockford passed away Friday May 5, 2017. She was born November 6, 1991, in Rockford, the daughter of Robert and Alice Hough Salamone. She graduated from Regional Alternative High School in 2009. She worked at Stepping Stones as a care giver.

Survivors include her precious son, Legion Ray Bartusiak; parents, Robert (Amy) Salamone of Rockford and Alice (David Castegnaro) H. Salamone of Rockford; brother, Joseph M. Salamone (Jessica Dobson); maternal grandparents, Francis and Shirley Hough of North Port, Florida; paternal grandmother, Joanne Salamone of Rockford; love of her life, Genis Bartusiak; aunts and uncles, Mike Hough, Don (Laurie) Hough, Angela (Tim) Barrett, Sonya (Al) Onken, Jori and Julie Salamone; many cousins; and friends. Allie is predeceased by her brother, Robert "Bobby" Salamone and paternal grandfather, Carl Robert "Bobby" Salamone. A special thank you to the many members of Alcoholic Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Rosecrance on Harrison and Gateway of Aurora for the guidance and support shown to Allie.

Funeral services at 7pm Friday May 12, 2017 in Tony Gasparini Funerals, 4311 North Mulford Road, Honquest Chapel. Visitation from 4pm until 7pm Friday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family in support of Allie's son, Legion.  Arrangements by Tony Gasparini Funerals.
