Azira Kalabic, 48, of Rockford died on Monday, February 13, 2012. Born in Bosnia on February 15, 1964 to Beco and Dika (Hadzic) Kalabic. She had many, many friends, loved to help everybody and was very caring. She loved to read and loved all animals, especially her dog, Jacko. She lived for her two nephews, Danel and Kenan.

Survivors include her mother, Dika Kalabic; brother, Mase Kalabic and sister, Alma (Zlatko) Kasapovic and her long-time best girlfriend, Tatjana. Predeceased by father and boyfriend, Sam.

Visitation will be from 11:30-1:00 on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, Rockford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road with a private burial.
