Hazel M. Haile

Rockford, Illinois – Hazel M. Haile, 84, of Rockford died on Monday, May 21, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born May 20, 1928 in Crawford County, WI. Married Edward J. Haile. Hazel was employed at Dixie Crème Donut Shop for over 32 years. Member of Brooke Road United Methodist Church. She adored her children, grandchildren and was an award winning quilter. Hazel also made the best apple pie in the world. Everyone was always welcome into her home.

Survived by son, Roger (Sue) Haile; daughters, Ronna Tewell, Ramona Wilson, Roberta (David) Baker; brother, Paul Wallin; sisters, Maxine Powers, Margie Haile, Marlene Seidel; twenty grandchildren and one on the way; 30 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by parents, husband, Edward Haile; son, Richard Haile; daughter, Ruth Haws; five siblings; and great-great-grand-child, Marley.

Services at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May, 24, 2012 at Honquest Family Funeral with Crematory, Rockford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd. Visitation from 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Express condolences or share memories at honquestfh.com.
