James Frederick Geaschel, 79, of Cherry Valley, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 21, 2024.  He was born on January 19, 1945 in East St. Louis, IL, to Adolph Earl and Clara (Nash) Geaschel.  He graduated from Collinsville High School in 1963.  Married Judith A. Cecil H. Kennington (Coach K) was born on October 1, 1942 to Virdie Lee Kennington in Humboldt, TN. He moved to Rockford, Il in 1953 with his mom and 5 brothers.
